About Me

Hi, my name is Mike Watson and I am 24 years old. Below shows a little of what I've been up to over these last few years.

I have been in the entertainment industry since the age of 17 when I was a member of successful band The United- consisting of 5 boys from 5 different countries.
- During my time in The United, I toured Japan four times, played well over 100 live shows and festivals all over the world, for crowds of up to 25,000.
- With a track I co-wrote called 'Come On! Come On!', we went #1 in Japan in 2014, knocking Pharrell's 'Happy' off the McDonalds Hot 100.
-During my time in the band I gained great experience. Including- countless music video shoots, dozens of magazine photoshoots, live TV and radio appearances, recording and touring. - I am currently a signed songwriter to Roastinghouse BMG, Swe.
- In the summer of 2015 I was lucky enough to open up for Maroon 5 on their European Arena Tour with Nick Gardner.
- I am currently in studio recording my first solo EP since leaving the band in late 2014.
- Away from music, I really enjoy my time in front of camera in photoshoots and presenting, and am looking for more chances to be able to do both.

Ex-Member of International band The United, consisting of 5 boys from 5 different European countries- UK, Sweden, Holland, Germany & Italy. Put together by Norwegian Management in October ‘11. Signed to FARM Records 1st May ‘13.

Chart Success
-Single ‘Come On Come On’ #1 on Zip Dance Charts, Japan (April 18th ‘14 for 3 consecutive weeks). #3 on McDonalds Hot 100, Japan (April 18th ’14).
-Single ‘So Wicked’ #5 on Zip Dance Charts, Japan (November 1st ‘13).

-Debut album 'We Are The United' released (2nd October ‘13) at Tower Records and HMV, Japan. 8,000 copies sold. Also digitally released on iTunes Japan.
