About Me

I am a gardener by trade. I also dabble in photography and DJing, owned and ran one of the most successful hostels in Vietnam for 7 years. Apart from my wife, of course, my deepest love lies with music. My gardening clients regularly tell me I have the personality and energy to talk all things gardening, (and probably most other things), on TV and keep a nation engaged. I am charismatic and have a deep passion for the environment, nature and the world around us. I lived overseas for a long time, which gives me a gratitude and love for this land. I believe that I can bring a buzz to any environment and my aim in life is to educate and inspire those around me to start getting wise and familiar with the world again, whether that be through DIY, music, nature, art, science or any other of the magical wonders of the world.

Experience & Qualifications

General Experience

I ran a hostel for 7 years in Vietnam. I hosted groups, took them caving, oriented them to rural Vietnam while managing a large team of local staff. I have worked in the retail business for several years. Currently I am a freelance gardener. I have been a professional photographer before, particularly I enjoyed gig photography. I have little experience in front of the camera but an enthusiastic learner.
