About Me

Mica is a passionate and ambitious UK based performer who was born and raised in Jersey, Channel Islands. She has been performing most of her life and is currently on the BA Acting programme at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts due to graduate in May 2019.

Mica is a confident, funny and enthusiastic actress with a passion for screen and contemporary theatre. During her time at LIPA, she has played Dogberry in Much Ado about Nothing by William Shakespeare, Maggie in The House of Bernada Alba and Lizaveta in PatricMarber's adaptation of A Month in the Country by Ivan Turgenev.

Actor and Singer based in Liverpool studying at Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. Originally from Jersey, CI.Outside of training, Mica has had the pleasure of performing as a supporting act for Sir Tom Jones in the summer of 2014 and also performing on the stage at the Bristol Old Vic as part of National Theatre Connections in 2014

Just finished my second year of acting training at LIPA. I have been acting all my life. During my time at LIPA, I have played Dogberry in Much Ado about Nothing by William Shakespeare, Magdalena in The House of Bernada Alba and Lizaveta in Patrick Marber's adaptation of A Month in the Country by Ivan Turgenev. Additionally, I have had the chance to develop my screen acting skills with a lot of facilities and teaching from an industry professional and have put this to use by featuring in 2 short student films and a preliminary showreel.

In February, I organised and hosted a 'Soul and Motown Cabaret' located in LIPA in celebration Black History Month. I also worked for 2 years as a hotel entertainer and often presented games such as bingo and quizzes, I also presented a few of the nightly kids disco's called 'Kid Zone Live' we do as family entertainment to the guests.

I have been singing soul and Motown music since I was very young and I have one it professionally for the last 5 years in which I have performed at weddings, charity functions, boxing events, birthday, general gigs and I even had the amazing opportunity to perform as a supporting act for Sir Tom Jones in the summer of 2014

I worked for 2 years as a hotel and kids entertainer for 2 years in a family hotel called 'The Merton' in Jersey, Channel Islands which is where I am originally from.

I recently worked as an extra on a currently "Untitled" film directed by Danny Boyle and written by Richard Curtis. I also performed as an extra in a music video for a project I know of called 'Silence in the Sheep'

I am about to enter my third year of training at drama school and have trained in areas such as Radio and Voiceover with Marina Calderone, Meisner, improvisation, Stanislavski technique, Shakespeare texts and Immersive theatre in collaboration with Slunglow.
