About Me

Hi! I’m called Melissa I’m 16 years old and I’m 4”11. I have many interests, these include acting and sports etc.
I did drama for GCSE (2 years) and came out with a grade B, I was asked to continue it for a level, however I didn’t take this route.
I’ve performed in front of many people acting in plays: Oliver Twist, and Group performances in which we would showcase our drama work, which also included 1 person monologues. I have visited a number of primary schools with my school to showcase a play that our drama teacher wrote.
I’ve been doing artistic for about 7 years and that also comes along with dance. I used to do ballet and contemporary.

- acted in the school production of Oliver Twist, had a couple of lines but mainly chorus (2016) performed in front of 100+ people.
- Toured as a drama group (in a level drama) to over 7 primary schools, performing a play that our drama teacher wrote and directed (2017)
- In GCSE drama after we completed each assigned performance we had to showcase it to members of our school and the public.
GCSE drama- when it came to our GCSE we had to performe a piece and work around it to how we liked it to look (basically directed our own) and this lasted 20 mins, with our own monologues, dancing and singing, we performed this in front of the examiner and 20 students

Used to do ballet when I was around 8. Have some knowledge of it now.
When I was 15 I did jazz and contemporary dance for a while.
Acrobatics- I’ve been doing gymnastics for 7 years and I’m pretty advanced in it. I compete level 5, training level 4 and when we compete floor our rountie involves dance.

- I love sports: gymnastics, diving, ice skating, running and climbing.
I love to act and perform, especially in musicals
I absolutely love watching west end shows and other musicals
I have seen a lot of theatre pieces ranging from Hamlet to Woman in black.
I love horror films and theatre prices especially!
