About Me

20 year old male from Cockermouth, Cumbria, UK. Aspiring to be a full-time actor as I have wanted to be like my acting heroes since I can remember. I started acting at the age of 6 when I starred in various school plays which then led me onto workshopping in many after school drama classes until I was 11. I knew Iwanted to become an actor and performer as soon as I got the opportunity to be in school productions. I went on to study Performing Arts at GCSE (2010-2012) and then again at A Level (2012 - 2014) - all at Cockermouth School. In early 2014, I got the part for a paid, short film role called 'Tom 3', directed by a local filmmaker which really enthused me to want to do it for a living as I had an excellent time on set and working with the other cast/crew members. In September 2014 to June 2016 I studied UAL Level 3 Media at Carlisle College which gave me the opportunity to write, direct and star in my own films which gave me insight to what it working behind the camera would be like which has given me the opportunity to work with many clients (for the production and acting side). I've always loved to write and script ideas in the hope that they will be put onto a big screen someday. After graduating from there in June 2016, my confidence for acting as well as my production skilled have massively increased ( for example, I have worked hard in all production areas from camera work to editing). In Early 2016, I got a main role in a Heritage Lottery Fund film called; 'Footprints of our Fathers' which depicted the horror of World War 1 set in 1915 Cumbria. This was my first paid acting role and I had an excellent time on set working with the other actors and crew members - making lifelong friends. It was an amazing experience and knew that I wanted to have many more experiences like this. I have been awarded IMDB credits for both films I have acted in so far which I hope I can add more over the years.

I have presented for a college project in late 2015 which I also co-directed and wrote.
I have also worked on a youth-led, Carlisle based radio station; 'Fault Radio'. I co- produced/presented a radio show called 'Mazz; which ran for 2 months from February to April in 2016.

Interests & Hobbies

Along with my huge interest of acting, I love to watch film and TV and take inspiration. Also, I am a magician and have been performing from a young age and have had paid work performing for people at parties and events. I am big fan of comedy films and TV shows and always wanted to be involved in something comedy orientated - I have made various of my own short films and projects for my Youtube channel; Headrush Films. I love to write and play music and have done for many years. I love socialising and meeting new people, especially in a working environment.
