About Me

I am a very outgoing, creative, easy going and determined person. I have been very passionate about acting since a young age. I find acting to be a great creative and rewarding experiece. Being an avid film watcher since the age of 7 has had an impact on me, in a big way, in terms of my performance style. I have always analysed the characters more than anything else when studying films. I feel that the best way to act like your character is to really understand and know the character your portraying. So that you're not just reading lines. Great actors and performers are the people who I really admire and aspire to be like.
I have always been keen to keep fit and take part in sport, which means that I am able to commit to my performances in a very physical and real manner.
I was very ill as a child and was unable to attend school for sometime. Having the ability to act and be creative enabled me to be determined and positive. I am now strong and healthy, but understand the need to work hard for what I love and believe in.

The experiences I have had studying have enabled me to hone my performance skills. I studied acting at college for a year. That year I explored several differet types of acting styles and performances. I performed in several plays in front of a live audience with lead roles in each play. I also performed monologues and dualogues in front of live audiences. The settings of each performace differed so I had to adapt to a new style. All the performances required different styles of acting such as : naturalistic and contemporary, non - naturalistic and improvisation. Most importantly, I commited fully to the character I was portraying in every performance no matter what the situation.
I also studied a film/media course at that time which extended my understanding of performance. We analysed films in depth, to understand the true meaning of the films. But I always studied the performances and the characters themselves more than anything, as I believe great acting is the key to any great performance.

Relevant Skills

I have always done impressions for family, friends and even during performances. I love to create and try new things in my leisure time and when I'm acting. Impressions and immitating accents has always been a great backbone for that.

Interests & Hobbies

One of my favourite things to do is to study and watch an aray of different types and genres of films. I also love to exercise and keep healthy, its a great release for me.
