About Me

Matt is a dedicated and passionate drummer who prides himself on his live performance skills as well as his ability to adapt and effectively play a variety of genres. Matt has over 8 years’ experience in both studio and live work, including festivals and O2 Academies, whilst also being able to play the Bass guitar and produce backing vocals.

“I’ve been playing drums for 11 years and am very comfortable in a variety of styles. I have sessioned for artists who have had management whilst also forming my own bands. I’ve had a lot of studio experience recording E.Ps and L.Ps in top studios including ‘the Poole’ in London (Adele, Mumford and Sons) and Brighton Electric (Bombay Bicycle Club, the Cure) as well as filming my own drum videos for my Youtube channel. I’ve played a host of musical venues including O2 Academies and UK Festivals. In the Summer of 2014 I graduated from the Brighton Institute of Modern Music, having been taught by some of the country’s finest session drummers. I am constantly learning and ready to show what I can do”.
