About Me

Hi im Matt and a typical Yorkshireman from Wakefield, West Yorkshire looking to get into an acting/media line of work. Its something I have always been interested in but never really bitten the bullet to try persue it until now. Ive done modelling shoots and videos with my current job and its something ive always wanted to go further. I work for a large scale nightlife events company in the north.

General Experience

I have served in HM Armed Forces for 2.5 years working on the now decommisioned Harrier Jump Jet as an Avionics technician. During that time I have very fortunate to visit many countries and origins during my time. I currently work for a large scale club night doing promotional work in the north holding huge monthly house/electro nights alongside holding down a DJ residency. The little bit of experience I have had has been in our promotional efforts for the nights we run including modelling shoots for themed events along with a promotional video on shoot to post online alongside the photos.

Qualifications & Training

9 A-C GCSE'S

Aircraft Engineering NVQ Level 3
(Avionics and Mechanical)

Many Aircraft specific qualifications including things such as Oxygen, Nitrogen replenishment apparatus, General aircraft repair on mechanical and avionic systems, aircraft marshalling etc.

Basic Health and Safety, Fire courses, Manual handling Etc....All acquired during my armed forces time.

Relevant Skills

I can work extrememely well under stress, usually better than when im not.
I work well alongside myself or with other people and try to take other peoples advice largley into consideration when im performing in a team.
I can adapt myself to work in pretty much any enviroment and have learnt to get along with most people and anything I get told to do, I do within reason.
Good IT skills.
Im extremely sporty and love the outdoors.

I enjoy getting to the gym, meeting new people, challenging situations, socialising and striving in life to be the best at what I can be at whatever Im doing. Im a hard worker and get on with anything thrown in front of me whether it be glamourous or down right boring.

I used to compete in downhill mountain biking at International level and still ride from time to time.
