About Me

My name is Maryam Abdulrazaq I'm from Nigeria,I'm the only child of my father and my mum has remarried and has three kids,i grew up with my aunt and grandma. I'm very easy going down to earth and very funny,i always have an answer to every question and i don't really take life seriously,I'm more of a dreamer and i just love to lay back and think of what i want to do in the future,but today was different,i realised the future is now and if i don't get up for me no one would. I'm 23 but my I'm a child inside,i love going to the cinema and love trailers,i love the fact that when you walk into a cinema you leave all your worries outside and for that 2 hours or so,you're in another persons world. I'm a good cook and i bake well too,i do a bit of photography and i have a blog. i also have a website for my photography(www.maryamabdulrazaq.com). I also write scripts and i hope to direct one of my movies,i consider myself as an underdog and i want to be familiar and well acquainted to the industry before i become very famous.

I have always loved acting,when i was in elementary school here i was in a play called 'The tailor of gloucester' even though in the play i was a rat and had nothing to say but to act,but i accidentally learnt everyones part,i was so into it and looked forward to every day on rehearsal. Going back home (Nigeria) i was unable to express myself in the acting field so that dream was paused for a while,right now i do a lot of short movies and people think i should do stand up comedy. I want to be taken seriously as an actor,even though i don't mind roles in comedy i still want to be able to express my self,acting means everything to me,and i don't even have to work too hard it comes naturally and i want to be given the chance to express my self so.
