About Me

HELLLLOOOOOOOO THERE> Hi, I am Marc. A highly motivated outgoing and lively guy whose main talent is being a singer/songwriter in my rock band since the age of 15. Starting like most people in the art at school in various school productions I began going on stage at the age of 10 years old doing impressions of TV personalities on my own, winning competitions locally. Entertaining people has always been my passion and something that my friends, family and myself alike believe I am natural at. I progressed into more acting in high school and formed a rock band which I am still performing live in to this date. I have been a childrens entertainer whilst at University, during which time I acted in various University productions from Shakespeare to Alan Bennett plays to a humorous parody dramatic monologue which I wrote and performed myself. I have assisted the stage director at University throughout my Degree in English, Drama and Film criticism and accomplished a \\\'1st class\\\' for this for which I am very proud of. On a more humorous note, being constantly called a drama queen and an exaggerator for comic affect has pushed me into wishing to further myself in this artistic field. I wish to gain more experience in acting/extras work and of course if musician positions arise I will always look upon with a keen eye also. I have toured the country with my band to intimate and large audiences alike playing our own original material and cover versions also, and have always had the audience in mind first and foremost to cater for what will move or stimulate them; often being spontaneous to reach our goals of entertaining people and leaving a good impression. I have a \\\'can do\\\' attitude, a passion for people, audiences and the arts generally and have a good sense of humour making me someone to certainly look out for as I endeavor to create a profile towards expanding these talents and skills and further my career in these fields.
