About Me
I grew up in Canada and studied in Toronto at York University, The Royal Conservatory of Music and two opera studios. My operatic roles there include Lucy in The Telephone at the Harbourfront Centre, Donna Elvira at the National Ballet Theatre, Musetta at University of Toronto, Gilda at the Living Arts Centre, as well as Pamina, Fiordiligi and Rosalinda in concert. I was featured in a documentary on Rogers Cable television and performed on City TV for Don Giovanni and performed with Andy Williams at the Hummingbird Centre in Toronto.
Since moving to London Lynn’s operatic roles include Masha in Cheryomushki with Imperial Opera, Lady Macbeth and Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof with Surrey Opera, Carmen with Commedia Opera and Aquarian, Musetta with Commedia Opera and Opera Up Close, Gianetta in the Gondoliers with Opera Options, Violetta with Commedia Opera, Norina and Despina with Opera A La Carte, Rita, Bastienne and Violetta with London Opera Productions.
Lynn has toured Ireland and the UK with Theatre Productions in a “Viennese Strauss Gala” and performed extensively with Opera on the Run for opera functions and productions such as “The Perfect Picnic” in London’s West End and was featured on BBC Radio 3. Lynn has also worked with Welsh National Opera singing in opera workshops.
Coming up in September Lynn will be performing Violetta and in October Carmen both for Commedia Productions and also Handel’s Messiah in December for the West Barnes choral society.
Lynn enjoys traveling and has sung in concerts across Europe and further a field to Oman, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Zimbabwe. I also teach singing privately and in singing workshops.
