About Me

I'm very interested in becoming a model. Although I have no actual experience in modelling. I have a passion for performing arts, so I am very used to being in front of cameras, people etc. I recently had a photo shoot with UK models to see what it was like. I thoroughly enjoyed it. They also complimented me on how I was very comfortable working with the photographer, that they did not have to tell me a lot of what to do. Because I was so comfortable. I would love the opportunity to model.

Attending AGF in 2012 determined my future. I have built upon my confidence and learnt more about the industry. I have relished the grand summer productions. I have been in Whistle down the Wind and No Day but Today - consisting of scenes from Matilda, Rent, A Chorus Line, 13 and Children of Eden. I worked as part of a theatre company which taught me the skills needed to become a successful performer. I had the privilege of being picked to be in Rent, A Chorus Line and Children of Eden. Playing Mimi in Rent developed my ability to remain calm under pressure when singing solo’s. Children of Eden relied on dancing, singing, and acting and allowed me to improve my integration of the three elements. Summer 2014 I was in Parade as Iola. I researched into Iola’s persona, which established her relationships. Summer productions were rehearsed in two weeks, which taught me how crucial time is. The foundations of becoming a performer were being built.

I auditioned for the choir of Joseph: Nottingham, Theatre Royal October 2012 and Derby, Assembly rooms April 2013. This was a great opportunity to work with professional actors and discussed their route to theatre work. I have singing lessons, which enable me to understand my range and the technical elements.

GCSE drama allowed me to work as a small company. We faced obstacles which we overcame with teamwork and compromises. We considered: different audiences, lighting, costume and possible techniques. The subject taught me about theatre techniques and practitioners. Drama A-level I delved into more abstract ideas and worked on engaging and shocking the audience. I have completed my level 1 and 2 Dance Leaders award. I taught children choreographed routines. This enhanced my use of movement within dramatic pieces. I attended Spritzer Dance Company. We worked with various styles from bhangra to hip hop. Gymnastic lessons, taken over 10 years, allowed my imagination to flourish. Attending shows and competitions has made me more driven and has motivated me to challenge myself on a personal level.

AGF Christmas show 2014, Kate Bone, Nina Gold Casting attended. I performed a monologue, duologue and The Crucible. This was an amazing experience, performing to a casting director. During this day there was some young directors that were seeking for people to cast in their short film. I am looking forward to this experience and how it will further develop my skills in the performing arts.
