Employment History & Experience

Louise was a founding member of cabaret-pop-rock sensation from Glasgow, The Redettes.
The Redettes put their own spin on all your favourite tracks. They are the ultimate blend of sexy vintage, rock and roll attitude and shameless pop fun. When they are not bringing their unique brand of musical-kitsch-cabaret to festivals and cabaret clubs they are showing Beyonce how to actually get a ring on it, raiding Blondie's vinyl collection and winding up Lady Gaga. All with finger-snapping attitude and gin on ice.
These divas can play intimate cabaret venues as a three piece act with backing tracks but they are truly at their best with their 5 piece backing band, the Gin Slings. The girls are on hiatus just now but right up until the summer of 2013 they were an in demand act. Gigs include the Cabaret Tent at T in the Park, the Olympics Closing Ceremony Celebrations at Festival Square in Edinburgh to corporate entertainment for Virgin Money.
The Redettes are styled and sponsored by Vivien of Holloway.

Louise is also an accomplished musical theatre and cabaret singer. As a solo artist she has created a one woman show and EP - alongside Glasgow based musician Chris Gorman - entitled One More For The Road.

You can listen to the EP at Louise's Soundcloud. It's comprised of smouldering jazz/blues vocals and bittersweet, melancholic covers of songs by some of her favourite jazz and indie artists; from Sarah Mclachlan, the Barenaked Ladies and Imelda May to Julie London and Frank Sinatra.

Louise is currently experimenting with writing her own material and is planning on recording and debuting her own stuff in late 2015.
