About Me

I am a confident, outgoing and an energetic person with TV, singing and dancing experience. Now with more time available I would like EXTRA, Voice over, Commercials or TV/Radio roles.
I sang in a dance band in the 1970's when I was a teenager, we travelled and performed across the South West, I trained in Ballroom and Latin American dancing in the 70's to Gold and competition standard (My parents were semi professional dancers). I came second in Miss Bath in 1975 and was entered for the South West Miss UK competition.
I also enjoyed acting and often starred in school productions and moved into local amateur dramatics.
I had my family at a young age so I did not pursue my singing career after the age of 20. In the 1990's and up to 2006 I took part in several TV quiz shows and really enjoyed this, I was often invited to take part in the pre show rehearsal which was also great fun.
With my family now grown up I am free to travel even at short notice and would enjoy any work as an EXTRA in tv and film, Commercials or voice over work.
I am confident and not fazed by anything and I am fit with a lot of energy. I was Mayor of Bath in 2002/2003 and this was a chance for me to continue to be in a public role as I am a people's person. I am used to working as part of a team.
I am an energetic 57 year old (people often say I look a lot younger) My pipe dream in my younger days was to be a newsreader! probably one of the few things I have not achieved. I am from the City of Bath but I do not have a Somerset accent, having no accent would be ideal for any speaking parts that I may receive.

I worked in the health service from 1976 until 2001 (in administration) 1995 - 2015 local Councillor. 2002-2003 Mayor of Bath. 2004 to date I run my own Events Business.

Interests & Hobbies

Musical theatre, game shows, the News - I am interested in local, national and international news. Charity work, I support many charities in various roles such as fundraiser, ambassador, trustee, vice-president and I am also a national patron for a charity with Heather Mills.

Miscellaneous Information

I received an MBE in 2010 for my Charity and Community work.
I was one of 187 British people who was chosen to go to Kosovo in 2001 to supervise a polling station for their general election, the first election since their war. An amazing experience and one I would like to do again taking a democratic election to a Country that has had turmoil and wants to move forward.
