About Me

I am looking to get back into my passion.
I am a dedicated, determined, hard working person and when it comes to acting I have a drive and a determination to succeed. I have recently decided to follow my dream. I wanted to turn a negative into a positive as I was made redundent last year and thought this is my oppertunity to actually do something that I love, acting.

I have recently started taking acting lessons which I love and I feel its helping me gain confidence and also learning my craft. I have booked myself a photographer to start a new and up-to-date portfolio and in the long term I would love to get an agent to represent me and to hopefully get to be a part of a soap and films.

General Experience

I have extra/background artist experience and I was with Sandra Reynolds Casting & Model Agency.

Working as an extra gives me on-set experience as well as meeting other fellow aspiring actors. I also get to observe what really goes into a production.

I can follow direction, I am punctual, reliable, and respectful person with a bright and bubbly personality.

but it has been a few years since I last worked in industry and I would very much like to get back into being a background artist, actor, presenting, anything really as it is all relevant and good experience.

Qualifications & Training

I am now taking acting lessons part-time and activley looking for work until I can gain representation with an agent/agency.
I half completed a BTEC in Performing Arts in 2003.
I have been a background artist (extra) for the BBC and independent digital channels.
I have also been involved with promotional work such as Virgin V make-up, The National Lottery as well as dressing up as a big yellow cat with blue stripes promoting Peterborough & Norwich Building Socity.

I have been a background artist and done promotions such as the National Lottery, Norwich & Peterborough Building Socity as SPLAT The Cat at Lincoln City Football Club as well as working for BBC on Murder Rooms and variouse other digital channels and films such as a remake of Jack and The Bean Stalk with 2020 Casting as my booking agent.

Interests & Hobbies

I have lots of interests and hobbies such as reading, I love reading and at the moment I am reading monologues and anything to do with acting and casting. I love to walk, its helps clear your mind of everyday clutter and walking around the countryside with my dog is a major part of my life, writting is a passion of mine and I have a squidoo page where I have written on two subjects, Tarot Cards and Lincolnshire's Hauntings and Legends. I am also a bit of a homebody so being with family is really nice, watching movies and dreaming of maybe one day having a book, a film and a nice house in the country...
