About Me

My name is Lee Rogers and I have just watched the Bad skin clinic with Dr Emma.
I was attacked and seriously injured by four youths over 25 years ago and was lucky to survive.
I was in a coma for 2 weeks and in hospital for 6 weeks.
I’m so grateful to the paramedics, doctors and nurses of the NHS for saving my life.
When I was found on the street the paramedics had to do an emergency tracheaostomy to my airway to enable me to breathe.
This left me with a large scar across my neck and I have lived with this scar for 25 years. Every time I see it, it reminds me of this terrible night.
Throughout recent years I have put on a dramatic amount of weight and feel this is connected to my self image.
Please can you consider me for the Bad Skin Clinic as it is only now I have summoned up courage to discuss this disfigurement and how it affects me.
