About Me

I am psychiatric nurse by training but currently work in the pharmaceutical industry as a Clinical Specialist. I have been a University Lecturer and been involved in research. I also do Tribunal work and I am a Trustee of a couple of charities. In the past I have been heavily involved in politics but then grew up.

I have 2 grown uo chidren, Charlotte and William. William, who is 18, is pasionate about drama and uses this as a way to help him cope with problems associated with Asperger's syndrome.

My main hobby is music, as I write and record with a friend who owns his own commercial recording studio. I write poerty and fiction too. I also enjoy sport, but kostly from the vantage point of a nice comfy armchair.

General Experience

Hi, I'm a broad shouldered Welshman with a suitable accent that many people seem to like - or at least i'm often asked to "say that again, please!" I am in my 40s but again some people tell me I look younger, can't see it myself, but my opinion doesn't matter.

I enjoy drama and would particularly like to get involved in such work. I have experience in amateur productions. I also sing - my profile pic was taken in a gig in Dublin, the jacket was a bet, I do have more dress sense - honest! My vocal ability ranges from ballsy rock'n'roll through soul to a more softer ballad style; much to my annoyance my natural singing voice sits very well with Country.

My day job involves me presenting to many groups of people and I have no qualms in being in front of small or very large groups.

I have a strong sense of humour and I have frequently been complimented on this, with my timing and sense of stage presence and use again possitivekky reflected in professional feedback and appraisal.

Appearence wise I realise I am not Brad Pitt, but equally not Quasimodo either, but my blue eyes can twinkle when needed. I am broad and stocky but not short, measuring at a fraction under 6 foot, so although I am a cuddly bear type personality, I can appear more menacing if the mood or the job demands it.
