About Me

Born in Warwickshire, the county of Shakespeare, i became fascinated by his works, both on stage and the page from an early age. At school i studied Drama, Psychology, History and English Literature in my final exams, all of the subjects required for a well rounded actress!

At University i choose a course that would rely on both my performance ability and flair for writing, gaining a first class BA honors from the Lincoln School of performing arts. This was achieved through my dissertation in which i explored the portrayal of Shakespeare's Ophelia from Hamlet, on the stage through the ages.

Currently, I can be found just south of the River Thames, in my top floor flat which i share with my best friend and a bucket of ambition. My hair may be bright red, but my smile is brighter!

I currently live in London and am enjoying meeting new people as well as spending time with good friends i am lucky enough to have already. I have worked in many different areas of theatre, including costume design, and acquisition for several of the shows i was in, and several others for which i worked solely in the wardrobe department for.

I tend to spend my free time reading plays, novels and magazines, attending the theatre or cinema or even going to museums.I have a passion for history, after persuing it in my studies at GCSE and A-level i am attracted to historical/period drama, as i am fascinated by the way of life and also the clothes and social manners!

I am not so serene all the time however! I do enjoy music, dancing and try to attend a jazz class every thursday to keep my brain ticking over!
