About Me

My name is Laura Usher-Bastar, I am half Romainian! I am passionate about this industry and will work extremely hard to do so.

I danced from the age of 7-16 with Bobbi's Academy of Dance where I performed all around the world including: Royal Albert Hall, Disney Land Paris & California.

Since spending a day at LDN models I realised how comfortable I am in front of the camera. I am waiting for my portfolio from them which is due within 5 weeks.

I have recently been casted for extra work with e4's show 'made in Chelsea' I found it very easy taking direction and moving on que.

1. In Brixton (London) I was cast to take part in Tabernacle the rappers music video, I was a main feature where I played the part as a bartender.
2. Recently i was cast as an extra for E4's made in chelsea
3. I was part of summer school stage coach where we produced pantomimes

1. I spent a day with LDN Models. I had 4 different photo-shoots with professional photographers. I was successful in my assessment and am now waiting for my portfolio to be delivered

I danced with Bobbi's Academy of Dance between the age of 7-16.
I competed in competitions all over the UK where i was the top of my category and have won hundreds of trophies. As a school (team) we performed at the following: Royal Albert Hall, Saddlers Wells, Her Majesty s Theater, Disney Land Paris, California, Wyvern Theater, Mardi Gras and the Art Center Swindon

General Experience

When i was 13 i modeled for my mums work catalog for their products they were trying to sell. This was an unpaid experience where i had to model with other teenagers and produce a solo shoot.
A day spent with LDN models was a great experience, i was successful in their assessment and am waiting for my website to be created and my portfolio to be delivered.
Very recently i was cast as an extra for E4 hit show 'made in chelsea' this was a great chance to work with the director on que when performing in front of the camera.
Aged 7-16 i was a dancer. I performed in shows & competitions all over the world including: Royal Albert Hall, Saddlers Wells, Disney Land Paris & California, Her Majesty's Theater & The Wyvern Theater Swindon.

I absolutely love to act not only do i want to progress this into a profession, i attend lessons as a hobby. I am an extremely out going person, so any physical activity out in the open i enjoy taking part in.
When i have some me time, i watch movies along with reading books.
