Employment History & Experience

I have worked as a conference producer for the pharmaceutical industry. All events required myself to open the conference and give the final speech of thanks.

As a PhD student in pharmacology at the univeristyof Cambridge, I also presented scientific data to my department on a regular basis and also to the scientific community at conferences in Glasgow, Sweden and Berlin.

Qualifications & Training

I have a PhD from Cambridge University in Pharmacology. I also have a first class degree in Medical Biochemistry and won the university prize for the highest mark.

I have taught undergraduate and graduates and I have experience in speaking and working with people from all levels of their career and from all walks of life. I have excellent communications skills, both written and spoken, and I have the ability to translate difficult to interpret scientific data and rationelle into a language everyone can follow - can become interested in. I am creative and think 'outside the box' and like to exercise peoples thoughts by looking at problems from less than obvious perspectives.

Interests & Hobbies

I love all aspects of science. For me, the appeal of science is that it draws on a wide range of disciplines, from theory and logic to empirical study. Science is the foundation of today’s society, this in combination with my fascination of the human body, its propensity to go wrong and the excellent research that is being performed has driven, and continues to drive, my education and career.

I am sporty and love to swim, gym, jog and play golf etc. I have a love of food, theatre, TV and film, but most of all, I love people and love to meet and learn from others. I am driven and enthusiastic for life.
