As an Individual I am outgoing, hard working, I enjoy a challenge and I have a strong ability to adapt within group situations. My interests and hobbies consist of Football, music, cooking and comedy.

Throughout my time in secondary school, I attended an amateur dramatics group called Tameside Youth Drama and enjoyed every minute of it. The group consisted of approximately fifty children aged between seven and seventeen. Members of the group attend rehearsals twice a week, concluding in seven performances for each show. This group helped me develop as an individual by increasing my confidence and self-esteem. I took part in many shows in which enabled me to learn how audiences react to different personas and the impact the audiences have on a show. Attending this group has significantly affected my life in positive ways because I am now volunteering as a leader, which will hopefully (as a result) give me more experience within the industry. It also gave me the confidence to study Performing Arts at college and to develop more social skills.

Further education has improved my skills as an actor and as a person because it has enhanced my team working, communication and leadership skills. I also enjoy working with my peers because it allows me to develop and enhance my teamwork skills. In college, we perform showcases to develop our individual talent in front of an audience; I particularly enjoy performing stand-up comedy and in a recent performance,I received a standing ovation. Realising that comedy can influences others,gives me the incentive to want to pursue comedy; I hope to perform for the rest of my life.

General Experience

I have performed in comedic roles for a large part of my education. I performed stand up comedy at last year's christmas showcase and the thrill I got when the audience laughed was immense; this was the moment that I will never forget; this was the moment I knew that this was the career I wishes to pursue. .When growing up, I would also be casted as the ‘comedic role’ in the amature dramtic plays I performed in when I was younger; this was also a time that I realised that performing is the perfect job for me.
