About Me

Me...Well I'm a pretty happy person, I smile a lot! I love spending my time with good friends and good comedy! I really love reading and can often lose myself in a book for hours. Films are also a passion of mine. I love to keep (fairly) fit and I run and swim a lot. (A lot is a lose term...!) I sometimes go to the gym, when there's almost nothing else to do of course!

I am passionate about life and I have been lucky enough to travel to some amazing places around the world. I hope to travel to many more in the future too. I keep myself fairly busy and try to enjoy life to the fullest, as cheesy as that may sound.

General Experience

I have had a few different jobs since leaving school. I have worked in catering, retail, sales marketing and waitressing. I also worked on the bar of a busy resturant/bar in Northamptonshire.
I now have a job that I consider to be more of a career - I work with children and I enjoy every minute of it.

I've taken something useful from every job experience I have had, my first job out of school was in catering, a busy food shop in the centre of town. Here I learned lots of valuable things at a very young age and learned to appreciate the value of a day's work!

Qualifications & Training

I have GCSE's and A levels in English Language and English Literature. I also hold an NVQ Level 2 in Beauty Therapy and a TEFL qualification.

I am currently studying through The Open University obtaining my degree in The Arts and Humanities.

Interests & Hobbies

My interests are quite geeky I suppose! I love learning new things and have become very passionate about education since working in schools. I am very interested in history, culture, the arts, psychology and anything that opens my mind.
