About Me

I have a bubbly personality and through my hobbies, studies and work experience I have been able to demonstrate my commitment to hard work and being able to rise to any challenge presented to me. I have gained the understanding that customers are like a audience, they should have a positive and enjoyable experience and should be treated with respect and provided with the highest level of service possible. My work experience to date have given me the opportunity to grow as a person and be able to provide my customers with great service, smiles and an all round positive experience from the moment I approach them to the moment they leave . Since I remember I have been a performer, I am very passionate about my dancing and acting especially my singing. My ambition in life is not to be famous but to achieve my goal of being a performer in the West End in musical theatre. For the last ten years I have been part of an amateur dramatics society (BASICS theatre group) and played a variety of roles from the chorus/ensemble to the leading or supporting lady. I also sang with the Halle youth choir for three years (top soprano). All this experience on the stage has helped me develop confidence when talking to and meeting people, life is just one big performance and the world is my stage.

My role as party captain involves me interacting with children, entertaining them and giving them a fantastic party this involves becoming a character, acting and engaging the audience as well as entertaining the children, making sure they are safe and happy. My role also involves interacting with adults, making sure they are happy, using my customer service skills.
My role as receptionist involves using the telephone to sell parties to potential customers, cash handling, customer service, taking bookings, waitress and stock checks.

Entertainer
My role as an entertainer involved many different tasks. I was working in a family orientated hotel, my main role was to run the “kids” club. I entertained many different children providing daytime and night time activities whist they were on holiday so their parents could relax. It was a fantastic experience to be able to play such a large part in the children’s and their parent’s holiday, the children absolutely loved the club and me. Also during the day I was to provide all round entertainment aimed at older teenagers, parents, grandparents and other adults. This would include bingo around the pool and other competitions, providing light entertainment. During the evenings my role was to provide the children’s entertainment involving dancing disco, games and DVD nights whilst the cabaret entertainers (sometimes myself included) would provide bingo and quiz for the adults in the bar and theatre hall, this involved using microphone skills, communicating to a large audience and customer service also cash handling and selling techniques (bingo tickets and game show tickets).

My role as a nursery assistant was looking after children from six months to four years of age, making sure they were looked after, learning and safe.
