About Me

Katharine Timoney is a session/backing vocalist and singer-songwriter from Northern Ireland living in London. She has performed alongside artists such as West End Star Rachel Tucker, Brian Kennedy and Eamonn McCrystal to name a few.

Her debut EP ‘Guilty Sin’ was released in June 2014 and reached TOP 20 in UK iTunes Top 100 Jazz Album Charts. Since then, she has performed in Jazz venues throughout UK and Europe including Amsterdam’s ‘Blue Note Jazz Club’ alongside regular performances at Jazz festivals. Katharine performs with her four piece band and currently holds a number of high profile residencies in Ireland.

Katharine Timoney is a session/backing vocalist and singer-songwriter from Northern Ireland. She has worked alongside artists such as West End Star Rachel Tucker, Brian Kennedy and Eamonn McCrystal to name a few. She is a classically trained by Associated Board Royal School of Music to Grade 8 standard (distinction). She is a multi - instrumentalist playing Violin (Grade 7), Guitar and Piano.

Since then, she has performed in Jazz venues throughout UK and Europe including Amsterdam’s ‘Blue Note Jazz Club’ alongside regular performances at Irish Jazz festivals. TV work includes Eamonn McCrystal 'The Music of Northern Ireland' (Backing Vocalist/Choir Member) - BBC One Northern Ireland and PBS America (2014).
