About Me

I am the mother of twins (all grown up and still need to loose the baby weight!), a nurse and a Brown Owl. I paint and hide pebbles for others to find and keep (@pebblefairy) I have completed 2 marathons, but never learnt to love running!

I have worked as a nurse for 32 years. Jobs have included A&E, paediatrics, Cancer Research, District Nurse and most lately Practice nursing. I am very good at dealing with members of the public!

Relevant Skills

I have never formally acted, but have taken part in Group shows with our local Brownie and Scout Units. I have a lot of experience in dealing with the public and am excited to try something new. I am flexible with my time as I am not currently in paid employment (my choice)

Interests & Hobbies

I currently run a Brownie Unit and have done for the last 12 years. I have held other volunteering roles- District Commissioner and help at our local primary school.I am the mother of grown up twins, I am married to my childhood sweetheart and I have completed 2 marathons. I paint small pebbles and leave them for others to find. Its a great hobby! I lived in Rwanda for 3 months last year, volunteering with an NGO that cares for Street Children. I am passionate about raising funds for them.
