About Me

Hello my name is Kaila. I have just moved here from Australia and I have duo citizenship (British). I have an Australian accent although I am very comfortable doing English accents also. I have studied Acting at Federation University in Victoria, Australia and also Music Theatre at APO Arts Academy, Melbourne, Australia. I also have several years of dance training (Jazz, Hip Hop, contemporary). I have been paid to be a model for the Prahran Market and also have done some Extras work with the TV show 'Neighbours' in my early 20's. Since then I have mostly focussed on my other love of Teaching. I am currently a qualified Primary Teacher working as supply (flexible hours). I have taught drama and dance through multiple holiday programs and US summer camps over the years. Earlier this year I had my debut back into the performing world, playing the role of 'Murphy' in Michael McKeever's 'Suite Surrender'. This was through the 'Essendon Theatre Company'. I absolutely loved it. I am interested in any acting/extra roles, dance, modelling or presenting. I am a very confident and switched on individual and therefore easy to work with.
