About Me

With experience in re-enacting, I am able to utilise a wide variety of skills learnt from that, including quickly interpreting and following instructions, and adapting to sometimes unexpected circumstances. It also means that I can bring a high level of authenticity when portraying characters from the 16th century. Playing in a ceilidh band has given me experience and knowledge of both historical music and dance.

Playing regularly in a ceilidh band for both private and charity dances means that I have experience in playing professionally for dances. Playing folk music also means that I am capable of learning music by ear - this has also come in useful when playing music with The Lions Part in London.
Playing the flute in the Patchwork Orchestra of the New Hardy Players.
Playing both the organ and piano in churches means that I am a competent sight reader and able to pick up new pieces quickly.
