About Me
Being born into a family of 7 people means that in order to be heard you either have to be louder or more interesting than everyone else. I began entertaining at a young age. After learning to play the Piano, Guitar, Trumpet and Drums I started writing and performing my own comedy songs for friends and family. I now perform at various open mic nights around Manchester and Leeds.
After starting university at Leeds to study Psychology I became involved with the award winning Leeds Student Television. I won Presenter Search 2009 and began presenting at their live broadcasts every fortnight. I was hooked, and went on to make my own programmes. After being elected Head of Entertainment I went on to produce a weekly entertainment show with the wonderful Kristen Blackshaw. The show “Waffle House” won Best Light Entertainment at the National Student Television Awards 2011. Not bad for a couple of Psychologists!!
Looking back at my early work, it makes me realise how far I’ve come. And I never did grow into my nose.

Employment History & Experience
I have enjoyed music since starting to learn the Piano at the age of 6. by the time i was 18 I had gained my Grade 8 qualifications and have performed at numerous competitions and events (mainly weddings). I also went on to learn the Cornet and progressed up to learning to play the Trumpet up to Grade 2. I also taught myself to play the guitar and the drums, originally to impress a boy that I liked at my secondary school. However, my love for the guitar, singing and songwriting progressed further than my love for this boy, and I continue to write and perform comedy songs at various open mic nights around Manchester and Leeds.
I also sang alto in my school choir. Now I prefer to sing in a more contemporary style.
