Hello and thank you for taking the time to visit my profile!
I'm originally from Australia, have lived in Asia for over 5 years (Japanese speaker) and have had residency status in the UK for the past 11 years.
I'm a Consumer Psychologist (Post Grad studies in Neuroscience) and was specifically the Consumer Presenter for Australia's leading TV Network - Channel 9, with a regular weekly spot on the TODAY Show as well as offering 'expert/specialist' comment for various consumer related business news segments, chat shows and a guest panelist spots.
I was quite fortunate to feature on the front cover of both the ‘Australian Small Business’ magazine and ‘Direct Marketing International’ in the UK/Europe and am currently analyzing my 20 years of consumer research data (small brain drain....!) providing a foundation for my first book on 'Tomorrow's Consumer'.
Part of my work over the past 22 years has been on the global professional speaking circuit and this has taught me (amongst many things....) that people respond positively to 'well balanced messages' consisting of a good dollop of 'educated facts', a decent ‘sprinkle of humour’, a ‘pinch of spice’ and all then nicely blended together with a ‘sincerity' spoon. I would say that my natural style reflects this. I'm having an interesting and eventful career working in Australia, Asia, US, UK, Middle East and Europe and from time to time still do live international cross overs if required.
In terms of personality, I'm a flexible, likeable person who has a good strength of character and high energy levels. I have great respect for professionalism whilst realizing the importance (especially having worked on live TV!), of maintaining a good sense of the ridiculous!
