I have been playing in performing bands from the age of 15.
I have extensive experience of the London pub and club circuit, with much experience gained while plaing with an Irish/celt rock band.
Presently working in a successful electro-acoustic duo covering Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire and Essex.
Also playing with classic rock covers bands when required.

Recently playing in a Blackmore's Night tribute band.
Experience of mediaeval evenings when requested to play the lute as a minstrel

I play the renaissance lute, mandolin and mandola.

Really this all comes together when I lecture, I have to keep 200+ students entertained and maintain their attention on difficult scientific subjects for upto 3 hours at a time. The university takes a dim view if student's die of boredom in a lecture.
