About Me

Jeff, being of no acting experience (unless you class acting as the sarcastic dry humoured wind up merchant everyone loves to hate) looking for a career in the industry - quite frankly would accept being a T&T (tit and teeth) girl on a game show given the chance to showcase my talent as a dry witted bearded Northerner that just needs a break.

That sounded desperate, not casting couch desperate just yet, however wouldn't mind being given a chance.

General Experience

After embarking on a career as a hairdresser, sweeping up and making tea from the tender age of 16 i progressed through the ranks of Toni and Guy eventually becoming one of their lead stylists spending a total of 10 years there, alongside running one of the most successful nightclubs in Nottingham ( where I'm originally from )so morning, noon and night i was working like a trooper. After which i decided to down scissors and pursue a true passion of mine, History. I began university as a mature student - having done all the weird and wonderful student things during my years working at the bar ( many a story to tell -most of which could make for a show in its own right, but not for this application) whilst at university I started and ran a Mexican street food business, learning skills that will forever stay with me, I knew absolutely nothing with regards to cooking before this however now it is one of my passions. after completing university and gaining my degree, I had had enough of education, a bitter taste left in my mouth. I shunned the usual career routes and instead travelled down south to take up a bar manager position at a 4 star hotel in Marlow, Danesfield house hotel and spa, from which i learned the ins and outs both good and bad, of the hotel industry. I then progressed into a role of restaurant manager at a new hotel, Donnington Valley where i currently reside.

Relevant Skills

quick witted, can think on feet, usually the first to improvise if something is going to pot. Gained a wealth of knowledge from the various industries i have worked in which has helped me experience numerous personalities, and able to retain and adapt those when retelling stories to colleagues or family ( with my own dry spin on the story naturally)
