About Me

I'm resilient, hard-working, caring, friendly, I have a sense of humour; I've been widowed and remarried, I have three adult children, a grandson, a dog and a cat. I used to have a Harley Davidson (I sold it after my mum came to live with me as it hadn't been used in over a year, but I shall get another, when the time is right and finances allow!). Physically, I'm 'well-padded', have some tattoes - shoulder and leg, which can be covered easily.

General experience: parent, grandparent, carer (for parent with vascular dementia and other health problems)

Relevant Skills

I have a loud voice, I'm used to "performing" in a classroom, so can keep a straight face, appear angry, miserable, amused, pleased, or interested, as appropriate. I am patient, versatile, and can talk in a variety of "mild" accents: North East, Scots, Welsh, Farmer Giles, (vaguely) French, and, of course, Brummie.

Interests & Hobbies

Art, Literature, Motorbikes (well, if you count cruisers as bikes :-) some don't!), Classic cars and Science Fiction on the TV.
