About Me

My name is James Paganini and I'm 17 years old. I am extremely interested and dedicated in acting and also the world in general and the mysteries that surround it. Religion and the supernatural has captured my imagination for years. As for acting i enjoy playing roles that require a lot of emotional input. I like adventures and exploring nature. I dislike discrimination and hatred towards people. I believe everyone is special and unique in their own way. As for films my favorite genre has been horror ever since i was very little. Horror films, i believe, bring out the emotion in you as an actor and that to me brings out the best of your acting abilities. For an actor to bring to life deep emotion from the center of your heart shows talent. But besides horror i adore adventure ie. (the lord of the rings) and those trilogy of films stand in my mind for making me want to be an actor. To go on a unique journey with other actors and to bond with them is special to me. My favorite movie director and idol is Quentin Tarantino. Ever since i was a toddler, acting has made a home in my heart and i intend to keep it there. I do anything i can to get involved in anything to do with performing and hopefully one day i will make a successful career out of it.

Attended Walk Tall Drama Academy and done theater shows including "A midsummer Night's Dream" which played for 3 nights. Also attended film & tv acting classes every Tuesday evening in that Academy. Performed a Drama GCSE play as Amon Goeth in Schindler's List. I normally play serious roles that takes a lot of emotional input. Predicted a B or above in Drama for my GCSE. My drama grade has been put on hold because of ongoing problems with the exam board. Attended numerous auditions for short films where i am always prepared for any outcome. I attended Dartford's Stagecoach Theater arts school where i was trained in acting, singing and dancing. I'm currently involved with a company called Artefacts Edutainment, which i successfully auditioned for. They have given me the opportunity so far to do a drama documentary on community cohesion which has been released on DVD . The Film segment that i took part in for the documentary is called "The Cafe". I am also part of "FAB Casting Agency" which get me paid work when available. I have received one of the leading roles in a 40 minute short film called "Under The City Light" which is being submitted to all major film festivals, national and international including the Cannes Film Festival. I have applied for a Summer acting school in August 2011 with the organization "Act2Cam" where i will be trained by professionals from the Central School of Speech and Drama.
