About Me
I am a bubbly, outgoing and fun loving kind of person, I am not afraid to dive into any task no matter how challenging it may be. My aim in life is to make a living out of theatre, whether I make it in the big time earning crazy amounts of money or scraping a living from what I love most.

Employment History & Experience
I have performed at most venues in Liverpool city centre with my old band The News Team, selling out the majority of performances, some of these venues are the O2 academy, The Newz Bar, Korova and The Masque (formerly Liverpool Barfly) this band gained local success and received quite a following from the teenage audience. With The News Team we supported Reemer as part of their UK tour and The Young Guns as part of their UK tour. Outside of this I have performed with Liverpool Hip-Hop artist Joey Seary at his E.P. launch at the 3345 Parr Street. At the moment I am currently writing songs for my new band, which is a 4 piece (vocals, guitar, bass and drums) progressive/ djent/ hard rock/ metal outfit. I am hoping to be performing by the start of September.

Relevant Skills
I am confident and strong naturalistic actor, I have studied drama at LJMU for three years and am nearing the end of my degree. I have gained experience through theory and practical workshops and performances in many techniques and styles- Naturalistic, Mask, Brechtian and Physical theatre, putting them to use on a constant basis. I have a native scouse accent but I am more than comfortable with RP. I like to be constantly challenged and I am not afraid to delve straight into the deep end. I also have gained experience in the technical side of theatre lighting and sound and I recently directed a 15 minute extract from Crispin Whittell's Darwin in Malibu for a university module. I also teach Drama to children for the NAGC (National association for gifted children) of a weekend. Direct Email * jayvr46@hotmail.co.uk *
Interests & Hobbies
I play guitar and have performed at almostt every venue in Liverpool city centre with my previous band The News Team, I am currently writing for my new band which is a kind of mix between progressive, metal, hard rock and djent. Music is very important to me, I attend a lot of concerts whether it be huge, well known artists to the local jazz night round the corner.
