About Me

I am now 67 years of age. I do not look my age and sound much younger than I am. I have a family of 8 boys and 2 girls (6 mine and the others are step-children). I have always enjoyed acting and not being a shy person I am always prepared to take on any role enough to the extent of making a fool of myself.(I'm not proud). I was a wine merchant until I officially retired a few years ago. I am a parish clerk to several councils in Suffolk the county where I live, so at times I need to be a bit of a control freak, it goes with the job. I am patient, understanding and calm individual and get on with virtually everyone, and people take me as they find me, no aires and graces- but I can put them on if needed.
Although my childhood was spent in East London I do not talk cockney, but I can, I was fortunate to go to a school that spoke the queen's English and as such my spoken english is very clear and precise.

As a child I have appeared in Carmen, La Boheme, Tosca, and a few other operas. This was until 15 years of age, then my voice broke and I was unable to carry on singing as a boy soprano at Covent Garden.

Family History Research, Cut Glass Antiques, Stamp Collections, naturally my complete family. Football, Athletics.

I do enjoy a game of squash and for my sins I am a gooner.(Arsenal fan)

Miscellaneous Information

I am a show judge for dogs, show manager. Organiser of all things sporting and I am a member of the Rock Choir.
I would like to take up where I left off as far as the performing arts are concerned and try my luck as a character actor.
