I've always been a creative person! I play a variety of different instruments, including the piano and vocals. I am a lover of musical theatre, I've been apart of shows and pantomimes, and my favourite hobbies are singing, dancing and teaching piano.

I have been in a variety of shows and plays since I was six years old. It started in the school plays and then I started to do afterschool clubs where I were in shows such as The Wizard of Oz and a pantomime of Little Red Riding Hood, however I have always wanted to take my acting skills more seriously with real work other than childish unpaid experience. I have been apart of drama and acting workshops and have ran some for kids with a charity called Caudwell Children. I also have a distinction star in BTEC Performing Arts Level 2

I once did this catwalk for charity where I had to model some new fashion and clothing from different cultures while people bid to raise money for Oxfam. I enjoyed the experience a lot.

I have always been very musical, and I still remember the first time I discovered a piano at my aunties house where they couldn't take me off it. I have been playing the piano properly for more than seven years, and have gained my grade five in music theory, now working towards grade eight. For five months I have recently been teaching children aged seven to fourteen how to play the piano. I also play the guitar, which I taught myself via youtube, a beginner on clarinet and I also sing. I have been in a girls acapella group, and now in a female duo called Kiss&Miss. I have been in competitions, winning cash prises and have sang in many shows, unable to count, to raise money for charity and other great causes. My best musical experience was singing for Coventry Festival, and also singing to Stooshe, a female pop group, at Sheftival 2012. I have been to events such as The Big Music Project too. I have been apart of music workshops, ran by Out of the Blue (Britains Got Talent) and have run a few along side them. For the past year or so I have been concentrating on solo singing, especially to do with musical theatre.

When I was young I used to do ballet, tap, jazz and modern dance. For three years I did Salsa and Latin dancing, with a bit of Ballroom on the side, entering into competitions at Blackpool and Sheffield. I have got my bronze, silver and gold medals in Salsa and Latin, getting Honours and Highly Commended, however I had to quit dancing due to my A levels last year.

General Experience

Most of my experience is unpaid, performing in shows and events around the Yorkshire region. This includes plays, concerts, festivals and charity work.

Qualifications & Training

I have my grade five music theory, working towards grade eight. I have my dance medals as stated in dancing employment and experience and have worked in many drama and music workshops, including running some myself. I have a distinction star in BTEC Performing Arts Level 2.
