About Me

An outgoing, gregarious individual with a sunny nature and positive attitude, I am able to adapt to almost any environment, and have the ability to participate as a team member as well as working independently.
I have always been a born performer and now look to add to my experience which has generally been volunteer work in my spare time. I have always taken a great interest in people and events. I have a great relationship with people I meet and am very likeable. I am polite but feisty and would consider myself to be well presented and attractive.

I am currently a Drama Student at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge. I am in my final semester and aiming for a First degree. Here I have had the chance to work on many different types of performance including Live Art, Contemporary, Shakespeare, Physical Theatre and one scene film pieces filmed in a studio on campus and I have taken part in other students films one which included a music video. I was working in Edinburgh Fringe last August 2010 as the Assistant Producer for 22 shows we took up there as part of artist development and won an award for our dedication to work.

I danced a lot when I was much younger as the star of the show everytime. This included mostly contemporary and musical theatre. I have continued the contemporary but recently got back into Street Dance.

General Experience

• Founder and President of Staged Imagination; ARU’s official Theatre Society. I set this up to give students the chance to get involved with work they otherwise would not have the chance to. The Society is incredibly active and has achieved a lot. I run the Society as well as producing every show.
• Recipient of the Tyrone Guthrie Award and paid bursary scheme for Production Management at Westacre Theatre, Norfolk.
• Assistant Producer for Escalator East to Edinburgh Scheme – artist development.
I have recently taken a more back stage role working a lot as a Producer in my free time and through internships. I now feel it is time for me to follow what I truly love and know I am good at which is performing.

Qualifications & Training

I left school with 5 A-levels which included Drama, General Studies, Psychology, History and English Language. I am currently studying Drama at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge and am aiming for a First Class Degree.

Interests & Hobbies

I have always taken a great interest in people and I am a good conservationist. I enjoy hosting and performing. My true love is dancing and socialising with all different people from different back grounds and with different lives. In my spare time I like to exercise and socialise. I am the sort of person that enjoys watching "the making of" extra parts of a film than the actual film to see what the actors lives are like and how they have to behave to be successful.

Miscellaneous Information

I am keen to get as much experience in any type of performance, from TV Presenting to soap acting. I have the academic foundation and I have been well educated but I now feel that I want to expand my artistic side.
