Hi =)

My name is Israa Khalid.
I am 25 years old and my lifelong dream is to become an actress.

I have been interested in acting since i was very young and i used to LOVE Drama in school.
This might make me sound like a crazy person, but one of my hobbies until this day is to act out scenes at home when I’m alone. I know; extreme right? but its all i think about and all i want to do.
I have other hobbies like art, cooking and I love socialising as my personality allows me to get along with people very well. I am often complimented on my livelihood and positive attitude towards work and life in general. I like to have fun and enjoy what i\'m doing as it makes all the difference.

This is probably not a good skill to mention but I can be a very good liar when I want to be (usually to make a situation better!).
I have the ability to alternate my behavior almost instantly depending on the situation, for example I can give the impression of being clueless, mature, deviant, hyper, sly and so on.

I can also speak a second language (Arabic) as my parents are Egyptian. Athough I am westernised as I have lived in the UK since the age of three, I have still managed to learn the Arabic language and perfect it by obtaining qualifications which allowed me to work as an interpreter for many years.
As I am from an Egyptian background, i find the culture astonishing and i am particularly interested in belly dancing so In my freetime i like to put on some music and practice!

I believe that I am a confident person as i like to try new things aswell as improve my weaknesses.
My brother\'s often tease me by referring to me as having OCD as I like things to be done properly and I work hard to achieve that.
I am an independant person, I moved out of my parents house at the age of 18 and I have successfully obtained a Degree in counselling therefore i try to listen to those close to me and help people when i can.
I have also worked at HM passport office for a few years and i am now finally persuing my acting dream.
Therefore, I would very much like to take part in several roles and I would be grateful if you can provide me the opportunity to show you what i can give.
