About Me

I would love to further a career in modelling and acting. I have always shown an interest in taking photos and the fashion world amongst us. I am also passionate about all aspects of performance, whether it be singing, acting or dancing. I am a confident and sociable person, who is eager to travel and learn more. I feel I work well as part of a team and am also independent therefore can complete tasks either alone or with others. I have been a member of my local theatre group, CYT, for 8 years, and have recently performed the show \'Urinetown\' where I played the lead role of Hope Cladwell.

I was first introduced to acting at the age of 6 where I played the lead role in a Christmas play in school. Ever since I have loved the idea of pursuing a career in the industry. At the age of 10 I joined my local drama youth group; which included all aspects of performing whether it be singing, acting or dancing. I am still a member to this day, and have been in many shows including; Grease, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Aristocats (where I played the lead role of Duchess), Tom Sawyer and most recently Urinetown (where I played the lead role of Hope Cladwell).
During my time in education I have always shown in interest in performing. I took Performing Arts at GCSE Level and gained a D* qualification, and have just finished a 2 year A Level Musical Theatre course (where I am hoping to gain a D*). The course was based through various units which included Singing Techniques, Contemporary Dance, Improvisation, Story Telling and Performance to an Audience(where I gained a Distinction). Throughout my A Level course I feel I have become more passionate and have learnt valuable skills as we studied in depth singing, acting and dancing techniques separately.

Interests & Hobbies

I have obviously always been interested in Performing, but I also love sports participation. I have been involved in various sporting activities; from gymnastics, athletics to swimming and hockey. Although I am not currently taking part in any of these sports, I love to keep fit whether it be going to the gym, for a run or on a bike ride.
