I am currently working on my GCSEs studying English, English Literature, Maths, Science (double award), History, Drama, Sports Science, ICT and French. For my A Levels I plan to do English Literature, French, Drama and Politics.

General Experience

Life and a study at a boarding school has kept me very busy, however in my spare time I baby sit for my Aunt as well as some family friends. I have also waitressed at some private functions locally for the last year in the holidays. Alongside this I have worked in retail at 'Burberry' and 'Amanda Wakefield' in Bicester Village.
Also, I have shadowed the TV presenter at Towcester races for the day. This will follow up with a visit to their offices in London.

SKILLS:

I play hockey, lacrosse and tennis for the 2nds team at Stowe. I have completed the advanced ECDL (IT qualification) which I love to do. I have a huge admiration for Drama, and I have been in demand as a lead actor in the school theatre since the age of 8, these roles have ranged from; Hercules in the story of Odysseus to ‘Amanda’ the Texas Mother in the story ‘The Glass Menagerie’. Within my range of subjects for GCSEs one of my stronger subjects is French alongside English Literature, because I like the creativeness in English Literature and I love to learn the language that my Dad grew up in.
In addition, I have completed the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award which involved walking amongst the Peak District Mountains as well as completing a First Aid Course, Cooking Course and Navigation. I am working towards the D of E Silver award in 2011. I hope to conclude with the award of the prestigious D of E Gold Award during my sixth form studies.

Interests & Hobbies

INTERESTS:

I am inspired by the fashion photographer and stylist Scoot Schumen as he travels the world as ‘The Sartorialist’ (Blog: www.thesartorialist.blogspot.com). Many of the outfits that he shoots are quirky yet effective and indulging. He loves it when he receives emails saying that his photos have inspired them ‘in a new and usually more accepting way’. I feel that I can place myself in this variety of people.
I enjoy using a computer to complete my homework and prep. Alongside this I am keen on using the internet to find out the interesting news of the world. I enjoy reading books: these range from ‘Noughts and Crosses’ by Malorie Blackman to ‘Goodbye Jimmy Choo’ by Annie Sanders. Alongside with reading I also love to listen to radio and enjoy watching the exciting, new films in the cinema.
I really enjoy Drama; I love the sense of thrill when I am on stage! I love playing the variety of roles that my school pick me to play. Furthermore, I love being in front of the camera and I am not afraid to apply all my confidence and skill towards it.
I do not have a favourite fashion magazine because I love flicking through them all spotting out the different yet interesting outfits and advertisements on show. These include: Elle, Tatler, Vogue and Marie Claire.
At home, I like to horse ride; in particular I am an accomplished polo player. I am part of Kirtlington Polo Club as well as Grafton Hunt where I play various tournaments and matches. I have been to the Cartier International Day at Guards Polo Club every year for the past 4 years, an event I love to attend as there are a variety of individuals, including Her Majesty the Queen and there is an invigorating, professional polo match to see.
For the past 9 years I have been skiing on the Alpes every winter which I adore.
