About Me
Husnaa is an award winning Actress, a presenter, teacher and a talented film editor. She won Best Actress at the 2016 Virginia Christian Film Festival for her honest and emotive portrayal of Noya in the Short Film ‘FROM NOYA’
Husnaa is also passionate about working with young people and empowering women on many different levels. Youth support and social inclusion have been crucial factors for Husnaa to engage not only through traditional methods of teaching but through media and drama, dealing with issues such as identity, relationships, faith, anger, fear, street safety, the community and education. Husnaa strongly believes that there are key elements that contribute to her on going journey of purpose and fulfilment; her willingness to sacrifice, her faith, and her ability to lead and not be deterred in times of challenge and uncertainty.
Her hobbies are nail care and painting. She likes doing this in her free time and finds painting her nails therapeutic and a way in which she can treat herself for free. She loves spending time with her family and playing board games. She is extremely passionate about her fitness, healthy homemade smoothies and going to the gym. She also enjoys watching TV box sets such as The Walking Dead and The Good Wife.
