About Me
I'm an Oxfordshire born actress, currently living in London but with a full UK driving license and car and am happy to travel anywhere. I have recently just accepted a place at Identity School of Acting. I have both stage and film experience and studied drama and theatre at A Level before doing a term studying acting at The Chipping Norton Theatre in Oxfordshire, led by teachers from The Oxford School of Drama. I am an extremely hardworking individual with a fun outgoing personality and am especially comfortable in comic roles though I also enjoy more emotional parts. I love acting and am looking for more opportunities to act at a professional level. Please feel free to contact me for any more info.

Employment History & Experience
2016
Escape from Wonderland, Andrew Bury Films: Rosie; Short film (pre-production, 2017)
Last Seen Online, Fools and Geniuses Ltd: Kerry; iPhone game app (October 2016)
Macbeth/ A Midsummer Night’s Dream, BMH Productions: First Witch/ Puck; The Oxford Shakespeare Festival and The Royal Shakespeare Company’s Dell Theatre (August 2016)
Reviews For A Midsummer Nights Dream:
'Helen Kavanagh returns as the archetypal mischief-maker Puck. Her irreverent modern-English asides, far from seeming unwelcome interpolations in Shakespeare's text, reinforce her cheeky camaraderie with the audience as we are caught up in her elfin schemes.'
Delivery, directed by Tom Walker: Woman (lead female) ; Oxford - short film
Sense and Sensibility, adapted by Jessica Swale: Margaret Dashwood; The Oxford Playhouse
Reviews for Sense and Sensibility:
'Margaret Dashwood (Helen Kavanagh) was a sheer delight, and lit up the stage every time she appeared. She never stepped out of character for a minute.' - Daily Info
'Margaret, played brightly by Helen Kavanagh, also adds plentiful humour to the action.'- The Oxford Times
'Helen [was] just fantastic in S&S, strongest performance I have seen for the Guild in a long time.'- The Oxford Editors
'The show was almost stolen by Helen Kavanagh as Margaret Dashwood... Kavanagh's performance was stunning; Margaret never became annoying as I think Austen's "younger sisters" have a tendency to do in performance, but instead stood out, her acting outstanding.' - The Oxford Culture Review
2015
The 39 Steps By John Buchan and Alfred Hitchcock, adapted by Patrick Barlow: Clown (Mr Memory/ Mrs McGarrigle / McQuarrie/ Crofter); Oxford, UK
Reviews for The 39 Steps:
‘The 39 Steps demands a lot from the small cast – five people played about 35 characters – and the demand was handled beautifully. Helen Kavanagh gave a standout performance; as a woman cast to play predominantly male roles, she inhabited the relaxed masculine stance convincingly.’ – Daily Info
‘Peter Sheward and Helen Kavanagh are especially funny as Mr and Mrs McGarrigle’- The Oxford Times
