A professional, highly organized Fashion Communication & Promotion student looking to gain further work experience. With over two year’s in store retail employment, event and web design skills. I am an incredibly fast learner who is keen to discover and adapt to new skills and processes. I am a total self motivator, with excellent communication skills and a desire to succeed with each challenge I undertake. I am very outgoing after winning the best speaker on my university course for presentations I have been encouraged to take my ability further as I feel its something i excell at.

I have previous modelling experience when becoming a runner up in 2008 for Miss Teen Queen when scouted at the Clothes Show Live. I was also voted hottest student in Nottingham therefore appearing in a double page spread in Zoo magazine this lead to appearing a further 2 more times in the magazine.

General Experience

I recently worked for Cosmo on Campus as a Brand Manager for Nottingham. My job role was promoting the campus magazine to the university students. I used the social networking tools of Facebook and Twitter which are frequently used by the target audience to create a buzz and further brand awarness. I throughly enjoyed working for Cosmo and I have received brilliant feedback from my promoting skills and from this been asked to join the team again. Completing this work experience has spurred me to look into the career side of PR and Promotion ad I feel my attributes fit the job role perfectly.

Interests & Hobbies

Annual visits to ‘The Clothes Show’ in Birmingham are the highlight for the December calendar and give me the chance to view forecasted fashion trends, up and coming designers and generally feel a part of one of the largest fashion events in the UK. I also enjoy socialising with my friends and arranging events for my peer group to take part in. I regularly post my thoughts upon my blog which features photographs I have taken and street trends along with current events that I find interesting. I have recently set up another blog that explores my future career path of PR and Event Organisation. Viral promotional videos I think are particularly inspirational for creating a buzz about a forthcoming event.
