About Me

My name is Harriet Whittle, i am a 19 year old student studying 'Drama Performance and Theatre Arts. I am currently in my first year and am trying to get as much work experience, whether paid or unpaid as possible. I enjoy working either on stage or on camera.

I have been involved within many plays and have been a part of Focus Theatre. We put on shows such as 'Magical Mystery Tour' which was a collaboration of many musical songs. Within this show I sang, danced and acted. I have been involved in the running of summer schools for children aged 3-9 in which i was paid to yet again act, dance and sing. As part of Focus 'Youth' Theatre i competed in the Cheltenham Festival of Performing Arts, in which i had to sing, dance and act - We claimed first place, and second place the following year. I have acted on camera for several short student films - this only involved acting, this involved me playing a girl suffering from psychosis in one of them and a girl walking home the morning after a night out. I am currently studing Drama, Performance and Theatre Arts at university and have been involved in productions such as Orphans by Dennis Kelly in which i played 'Helen.' I have also played 'Mel' in Shakers by John Godber.

Interests & Hobbies

I enjoy performing, whether this be acting, singing or dancing. I enjoy reading, a lot of plays but also enjoy the works of many authors from Emily Bronte to Stephenie Meyer. I am passionate about music and love listening to it, as well as socialising with peers.
