About Me

I have been very lucky with having the opportunity for one of my hobbies, creative writing, to be pursued as a work venture, and I hope to do that one with one of my other loves now - acting. I published my first book in August 2017 to, what I hope to be, a good reception. It was a great learning curve and showed me the importance of not rushing into things, as I feel at the time I should have waited until I, and my book was more ready - I don\'t regret my decision to take my publisher up on the offer, but I have learned from it. I have also learned, through writing, the importance of characters in changing the lives of people, and giving them escapes from our world into others. That\'s one of the reasons I love acting.

I have also had experience with bad mental health. I was diagnosed with severe anxiety, panic disorder, and low self-esteem, and after years of therapy, and a couple without, I was able to pull through, and am not finding these problems to be of as much bother as they were. This also helped with teaching the importance of having places you can escape to, and having things to take your mind off of problems going on in our lives. It\'s also given me vital emotions that I can use in future projects and has shown me the true extents and horror that the human mind can go through, and how you can come out of it a better person. It also gives me the drive to want to act, as it\'s something I love, and I hope it will help others in the future in a roundabout way. Acting isn\'t just making people \'happy\' as not all projects will have a form of happiness to them, it\'s giving an escape. The drive to try my best, which will get me to give my all in everything I do, comes from a long time where I was unable to do what I loved or even anything. It makes me want it even more and makes my passion stronger for what I\'m doing, and the opportunities I get.
