A highly-driven individual, with the self-confidence and determination to embark on a career in the media. I'm ambitious, determined, hardworking and always willing to try news things and loves being unique.

Throughout my life, I have always been involved in anything and everything. I was a training gymnast for eight years, a punjabi hymn singer, clothes designer, organiser of a fashion shoot, helper of a family travel agency and participated in a local television advert.

There's also an academic side to myself, as I have worked part-time as a healthcare advisor and training dispenser at Boots the Chemist. I have gained work experience in several media organisations.

Also, I enjoy meeting new people, exploring unique places and experimenting with food.

Employment History & Experience

Having presented many shows for Westminster news online, (such as Pineapple Dance Classes in Harrow, a Rise in Pitbull attacks in playgrounds) in have extensive experience in front of the camera.

My area of expertise is in health journalism and I have interviewed men with eating disorders and victims of Hepatitis C in Scotland. I have also interviewed Waterloo paramedics on the London Booze Bus in the West End.

General Experience

I have extensive experience in producing TV news stories, from hard news to light-hearted features. Also, I have experience in radio news and I have broadcasted several news bulletins on Smoke Radio.

I have the ability to interviewed Boris Johnson, Uri Geller, presenter Steve Blacknell, BBC Clothes Show presenter Caryn Franklin.

Qualifications & Training

For the past four years, I have studied a Masters in Broadcast Journalism at the University of Westminster, and a BA honours in Journalism at the University of Leeds. Prior to graduating, I have gained seven internships in the media including, CTV News, BBC Radio Leicester and Five News.
