Employment History & Experience

From 2005 till 2011 I attended Canon Slade School which is also a performing arts course. I have starred in many events, competitions and productions here. These have been plays, musicals and workshops. I have starred in many musicals such as Billy Elliot and Fame! where I had to use my acting skills to create realistic and emotional performances. I also took Drama at GCSE and performing arts and theatre studies at A Level. These included many performance exams. I have appeared in Road by Jim Cartwirght as Brenda and Valerie as part of my A.S Theatre exam. Here I had to act as a gritty member of the 80s working class. For this exam I also played the role of Valerie from The Weir and performed her monologue using a thick Southeren Irish accent where she talks about the loss of her daughter. I am currently rehearsing for my Performing Arts exam in June where I play Norma in Morning, Noon and Marilyn Monroe. I have also starred in two panto-mimes which toured around primary schools in Bolton. I have also appeared in devised pieces about gang culture, film noir and self image themes. All these pieces also included singing and dancing. As did every musical I have been in. I have also had experiance in Shakespeare workshops and performance when I played Ariel at the Thwaites Theatre Blackburn, as part of the Shakespeare Schools Festival.

Employment History & Experience

I have been playing piano since I was 5 and have taken all my grades on Associated Board. I am currently studying for my Grade 8 in November 2011. I am also starting teaching piano from September 2011. I have also been singing from a very young age. I had singing lessons from the age of 13 for 4 years and took my grade 4 and passed with a merit. However due to cost I couldnt carry this on. However I keep my vocal training up with musical rehearsals which I attend. I am currently taking part in The Producers with Bolton Premier Productions. I was also a part of a christian Rock band for 5 years being the lead singer. From this I have gone on to paid work where I have sang for weddings and charity events. I have had many principle parts in musicals, plays and showcases using my voice such as;
