Miscellaneous Information
Twice as a ballet student, I was chosen to appear on Coronation Street as an extra and at age 10 was delighted to spend a day and night at Granada studios as a fan of Walter Potts (the window-cleaner pop star discovered by Dennis Tanner) and on a set which was then built in the carpark. At age 13 I appeared as an extra in the corner shop and said two words! Working with Arthur Lowe who put me at ease was a delight, plus spending the day with Corrie greats such as Pat Phoenix and William Roache was just amazing. That was over 50 years ago and I still feel I have much to offer in contributing to TV or film drama in this country.
