About Me

As a keen actor, I am a confident, polite and approachable lady with a friendly demeanour. I enjoy working with people and learning about their differences. I am extremely creative and use this to my advantage in everything I do. Having been involved in the acting industry since the age of 6, I have performed with a range of companies including Hull Truck Theatre and BalletLORENT in studio and main house productions. I have also taken part in a variety of short courses in acting, playwriting and directing which I was able to use to my advantage during my academic study of theatre, which I was assessed in Theatre in Education performance, devised performance and directed performance. My proudest achievement is scoring 60/60 on my GCSE practical examination in which I portrayed Angela in “Like a Virgin” by Amanda Whittington, securing me an A* overall. I feel that my theatrical experience has provided me with a diverse range of skills that are highly applicable to employment opportunities; my confidence has grown incredibly and as an attentive listener and empowering team worker, I feel that I would be a positive addition to your team due to my generous, honest and supportive personality and determination to succeed.

Being involved with stage acting means that I have been involved with a number of musicals (Hairspray/Mulan/Beauty and the Beast etc) and am comfortable singing on stage either as a group or solo.
I have taken part in a couple of talent competitions for singing, reaching the semi-finals in a local one a few years ago.

I have a strong set of GCSE's including an A* in Drama Studies and an AA in Media Studies Double Award.
I studied Drama at A-level and am currently awaiting my result.
I have been involved with Hull Truck Theatre for a number of years now.
