About Me

Ever since I was a child, I have been interested in every aspect of the arts which soon flourished into a more specific interest in theatre and acting, both on the stage and on a film set and I am now a 20-year-old student currently in my second year of studying Theatre & Film at the University of Kent, England.
I am a responsible and caring person who is incredibly committed and hard working in everything I do and am willing to do what is necessary to achieve my goals. People would typically describe me as a bubbly and energetic person.
Since a young age it has been my dream to be like the women I saw on the Television, in films and the amazing talent that I have had the chance to experience watching on stage at the theatre. However, unfortunately, I have not had a lot of experience of being involved in the arts outside of school or university, but I now feel that the time is right for me to pursue it as a career choice.

I have always loved to act and perform, with my earliest memories on stage performing as Mary in several Christmas nativities as well as making my parents sit through a great number of my own devised pieces in our living room! Throughout my school life I was involved in Drama, be it performing in the school shows or studying it at GCSE & A Level. I am now currently in my second year of studying Theatre & Film at the University of Kent, England and have so far secured a strong 2:1 in the following acting modules: Empty Space, Modern Theatre and Physical Theatre. Unfortunately, I have not had as much acting experience outside of my education, however, I feel that with the understanding that I have gained, the time is now right to find myself some solid work experience within acting.

My voice type is alto especially when singing as part of a choir, however when singing solos my range may vary anywhere from alto to mezzo-soprano. I have a vast amount of performing experience including performances as part of a Chamber Choir at Birmingham Symphony Hall, The Royal Albert Hall, Salzburg Cathedral, St Marc's Basilica & several other venues across Europe. I am also a founding member of both an 8 piece female acapella group called 'The Harmoneves' and the Glee Society at my university. The Harmoneves has been running for around four years and has performed across the country at various gigs, functions and competitions. The Glee Society was started in order to give people who were not confident in singing or performance a chance to grow and develop.

Interests & Hobbies

I have always been interested in photography and have a great passion for photos probably with thanks, to my Aunt who would make my brother, cousins and I pose for countless numbers of photos at each family gathering and then would take these photos and turn them into beautiful, ornate scrapbooks for us all. Today I possess a Digital SLR Camera (Nikon D70) with a variety of lenses which I use to take the majority of photos - both artistic and personal. I have a particular interest in photographing nature, including weather elements, landscapes, animals and plants.
